Chest Freezer (20 minutes, colour) Filmed in the garden of Datchet Cottage, the home of Captain Maurice Seddon (Royal Signals Retired), mostly in the 1980s. Soundtrack is one of Seddon’s extraordinary taped telephone conversations - with someone offering him a chest freezer (cf. The Seddon Tapes Volume 1 vinyl LP).
Anonymus (20 minutes, colour) A sequence of shots, mostly of dwellings - houses, a camper van, disused pill-boxes (bunkers), patched marquee -and reflections/virtual abstraction in a foxed mirror in a 1940s ex-military shower unit. Locations: Leicester, London, Weymouth. Silent.
City (20 minutes, colour) Filmed from a fourteenth floor flat in the City of London - a building shattered by the IRA, a crane and its driver, roadworks, a building site, passing seasons. The last minutes of the film pass into abstraction accompanied by sounds which could be fireworks or gunfire. Filmed from the 1980s up to 2015. Soundtrack composed by Daniel R Wilson in 2018.
